FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is your style?

A: My style is elegant and timeless. I specialize in capturing a blend of unscripted, emotional moments photojournalistically as well as beautifully posed, timeless portraits. I am a calming presence at every event I photograph and I seek to put my clients at ease in front of the camera so that their unique personalities can shine through.

Q: What type of camera equipment do you use?

A: The gear pictured above is my basic event photography kit (although I usually come with a lot of other fun stuff). I shoot with two cameras (Canon 5D Mark III and Mark II),  a variety of high end, very fast lenses and several types of lighting equipment. I am prepared to create beautiful images in any setting.

Q: What file type do you photograph in? Do you deliver every image you shoot?

A: All images are shot in RAW format. I eliminate any images that would dilute the overall story (example: duplicate shots, missed focus shots, bad expressions). Every remaining photo is then carefully adjusted and enhanced and is delivered to you on a flash drive in the highest quality .jpeg format, which is required for viewing and printing.

Q: How many images do you deliver from a wedding?

A: I deliver roughly 75 images per hour.

Q: Do you provide the digital files after the shoot?

A: Yes, every package comes with full resolution .jpeg images on a flash drive.

Q: Have you shot at my venue before?

A: Probably. I have shot at many wedding venues in and around the Oklahoma City area and beyond. I am happy to show you slideshows from your venue so you can get a sense of what the photography would look like at your specific location. If I have not photographed at your venue, I am happy to do a walk through with you prior to the wedding day.

Q: Can I see a full event from start to finish?

A: Absolutely. I strive to consistently create beautiful images throughout the entire event. In fact, I love to show couples complete weddings in the albums I have custom designed. The wedding album is the best way to complete and showcase the story of your wedding.

Q: Why do I need a second photographer?

A: A second photographer will add coverage and enhance the story of your day. As your main photographer, I will focus on the couple and the main events of the day. The second photographer will provide different angles and perspectives throughout your day and will add more candid shots of family and guests.

Q: Do you shoot Quinceaneras, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Baptisms or Corporate events?

A: Absolutely. I have extensive experience in many types of event photography and would love to cover your celebration.

Q: How do I reserve you for my date?

A: All dates are secured when I receive a signed contract and deposit.

Q: How do I set up an appointment to meet you in person and see some of your work?

A: Please contact me to make an appointment: 405-534-3900 or at ab@amandabeckerphotography.com. I would love to meet you!
